Hi! I’m Aubrey. I have a wonderful super hero of a husband, his name is Brock. And I am lucky enough to be the mom of the two cutest boys ever, Carson and Gordon. They’re 17 months apart and they are my everything! I am a musician. I graduated from Utah State University (Go Aggies!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Choral Music Education. I love to write music, and I teach private voice and piano lessons in my home.
I have Osteitis Pubis and SI Joint Dysfunction — long lasting effects from Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction in my last pregnancy. I cannot walk very far without severe pain. I fought for my health, with months of physical therapy, visits with specialists, injection treatments, etc. before I began the journey of accepting my long term disability. I am grateful for my wheelchair that lets me keep on going when my legs can’t, and I’m determined to live life to its fullest! I believe that the happiest way to live is simply with gratitude. No matter what, there is always something to be grateful for. And if you can find in yourself gratitude, then you can find in yourself happiness. So, smile today. If you look hard enough, you’ll find a reason.
